William Kay, DMD, is truly an architect of dentistry. With over 25 years of experience in prosthodontics, he has become a leader in complex and high-end restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Dr. Kay performs complete smile makeovers through the advanced placement and development of dental implants, in-office whitening systems, and comprehensive periodontal care for optimal gum health.
Dr. Kay specializes in complex cases requiring a level of care and expertise beyond the limitations of general dentistry. Many of his patients are referred by medical and dental specialists who recommend Dr. Kay for his enhanced cosmetic and reconstructive services.

Dr. Kay maintains a reputation for excellent results by following the basic principles of proper planning and team synergy. As a smile architect, he surveys each patient’s dental “properties” and designs reconstructive blueprints, planning every detail of the treatment based on his artistic vision. Dr. Kay then works with his carefully assembled dental team, including in-house laboratory technicians, to realize this vision. Dr. Kay credits his team approach for the success his practice has earned over the past two decades.
IN-HOUSE LABORATORY
At the helm of his highly skilled team are master dental technicians and ceramists who have trained under the finest progressive specialists in Belgium, Romania, and Germany. “Our on-site laboratory is of great benefit to our patients,” Dr. Kay explains. “This makes it possible for me to maintain total control of the development of the prosthetics I use, as well as to protect quality and consistency. Equally important – I can respond instantly to my patients’ needs.”
To further concentrate on his patients’ needs, Dr. Kay keeps his patient base at a lower level than most dental offices. It is necessary to be somewhat selective when treating those with complicated needs because each treatment requires the careful formulation of a precise and thorough treatment plan. Dr. Kay places great stress on developing the best treatment plan possible, just as an architect spends much of his time developing a blueprint.
